Description
|

|
The Telatrast thread is firmly interwoven in
Telacomp. Thus there is no risk of it or any parts of it becoming
loose. Even under extreme conditions, a swab forgotten in the body is
easy to detect radiologically due to the compact structure of the
detectable threads and gauze fabric.
The barium sulphate content of the Telatrast
thread is 60% and thus meets the requirements of modern X-ray
equipment.
The Telatrast thread remains detectable, strong
and flexible permanently.
Due to the folded edges the Telacomp gauze swab
can be opened and used repeatedly without annoying threads coming loose
at the edge.
Telacomp is available non sterile, in sterilisable
paper bags, and sterile. In sterile presentation Telacomp is part of
the Telatrast module system which adds to safety in the operating
theatre with 5 practical swabs per package and colour- and figure-coded
double check cards.
