Telatex is a laparotomy sponge made of absorbent
cotton gauze DIN 61630-VM 24b, 24 threads/cm² with an interwoven
Telatrast X-ray detectable chip and a long loop.
As X-ray detectable medium the laparotomy sponge
contains a soft, firmly interwoven chip which is reliably displayable
with a barium sulphate content of 60% and which meets the requirements
of modern X-ray equipment.
Telatex is available non sterile in 4-ply and
6-ply and in various sizes.
It is available in white, green and blue.
